Provide professional medical services to all unassigned emergency department patients in need of inpatient admission to the Parkland Health Center and to patients whose primary care physicians and/or surgeons (or other procedural-related physicians) admit them to hospitalist program at Parkland and those patients for whom a consult is requested from surgeons (or other procedural-related physicians) managing the inpatient care of such patients, including Medicaid and Medicare participants (as applicable) and managed care enrollees.
